Some basic rules to follow so everyone has enjoyable races.
- There will be a quick warm-up run, minutes before each event time, to check internet lag. If some driver have a really bad connection and his car warps all over, he might be asked to leave.
- The server to be used is provided by SpeedSims: speedsims.no-ip.org
- Drivers must be familiar with their car and the tracks before entering competition. Practicing to get good knowledge of the car's handling is required before racing online.
- We are all driving as friends so please drive with good sportmanship, and don't swear or verbally abuse another driver.
- During the race there will be NO chatting, since this can be a distraction to other drivers.
Only the following predefined commands shall be used during the race:
PPP or Pitting - before entering pitlane
XXX or Exiting - before exiting pit lane
<<< “please overtake on the left”
>>> “please overtake on the right”
If you’re laps down or have damage and see a faster car approaching, it’s a gentlemans agreement to go out of the way to let the faster car go by. When it’s safe to do so.
Pitting Procedures:
The pitting procedures will be verbally explained to the drivers at each event briefing (in the server chat room).
There's no mandatory pit stops, drivers are free to develop the race strategies that fits better to their driving styles.
Incidents:
Incidents not described by the rules will be examined and penalized at the admins discretion.
Blaxman TV coverage:
By entering the races the drivers agree the images of their cars and performances can be used for promotional and informative video clips.
All events will be covered by Blaxman TV.
